This is one of the coolest "true" UFO events that has become all but forgotten amidst the plethora (love that word!) of UFO events over the decades.
Los Angeles County, 1942.
Something very odd happened in the early morning hours of February 25, 1942. An aircraft flew over LA County that sparked an air raid alert. Searchlights and Guns were locked onto the aircraft for about an hour. That alert was unlike any other and a news photographer captured the event on film.
